Directions By Car
From the North:Take the M5 south and leave at junction 14. At the end of the motorway junction turn right and then left onto the A38 heading Thornbury. Follow the A38 for approximately four miles ignoring the first two signs for Thornbury. At the traffic lights (next to a Rover Garage 'Berkeley Vale' on your right) turn right onto the B4061. Follow this road approximately half a mile down a twisty hill, and you will see a leisure centre on the right and Golf club on the left. The Caedmon Complex is the last driveway (gap in the wall) on the right before the mini-roundabout. The entrance has black iron gates. If you miss it, loop back round the roundabout and then the Caedmon Complex is first on the left.
From the East (London M4):
At the M4/M5 interchange (junction 20, M4), take the M5 South but stay on the left slip road that leads to junction 16 signposted Thornbury. Turn right at the roundabout onto the A38. Follow the A38 approximately four miles until you reach traffic lights by a Rover Garage (Berkeley Vale). Turn left onto the B4061. Directions By Train
The nearest railway station is Bristol Parkway. There is a bus station at Bristol Parkway and the 312 operated by South Gloucestershire Bus & Coach runs from Bristol Parkway and goes direct to Thornbury, please check www.southgloucestershirebus.co.uk for up-to-date information on bus times and prices. If you do get the bus, see below for info on where to disembark. Alternatively you can take a taxi from Bristol Parkway (about seven miles) or call us in advance to see if it's possible for us to pick you up.Click here for train times and prices.
Directions By Bus
From Bristol bus station you can take the 309 / 310 to Dursley, which goes via Thornbury (takes about an hour). Disembark in Thornbury just after the golf club, this is the Bristol Road. The golf club is situated at the bottom of a long hill (Thornbury Hill). Once you disembark the bus, carry on walking in the direction the bus is heading, and cross over to the other side of the road. The Caedmon Complex is the last driveway (gap in the wall) on the right before the mini-roundabout, look out for the black iron gates, and the ngm sign.Click here for a 309 / 310 bus timetable.
